R v MD-operation Forsten (Warwick crown court)

Successfully represented defendant who was investigated for murder of a man outside a nightclub, the attempted murder of another man and violent disorder in Coventry city centre. The prosecution did not charge the defendant with murder but with S18 wounding and violent disorder. The prosecution subsequently reviewed the case and offered no evidence for S18, the defendant was acquitted unanimously by a jury of violent disorder.

R MD (Harrow crown court )

Successfully represented defendant charged with S18 wounding and violent disorder with 4 others, the defendant  was accused being part of a group who stabbed a 15 year old in public. The defendant was acquitted of both offences.

R v JT (Birmingham crown court)

Successfully represented defendant accused of causing death by dangerous driving. The defendant was acquitted unanimously by a jury.

R v JW (Birmingham crown court)

Successfully represented defendant accused of serious assault (S18 Wounding ) by driving his vehicle into the victim, the impact caused the victim life changing injuries. The defendant was acquitted unanimously by  jury of the serious offence and convicted of the less serious offence  of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

R v BJ (Warwick crown court)

Successfully represented defendant accused of attacking his victim with a broken bottle in his face, client acquitted unanimously by a jury of S18 Wounding.

R v HK (Birmingham crown court)

Successfully represented parents and a daughter  accused of kidnapping a member of  their family.

R v KH (Birmingham crown court)

Representing defendant charged with 8 others with  a complex conspiracy to burgle dwelling homes predominantly whilst the occupants are sleeping.
